OMP-MIS is an agronomy management information system for single estates or estate groups.

Main Menu Easy to use point and click navigation is used throughout OMP. The following screens show the basic information stored in OMP in a historic 'block per year' database structure.
Yield Data OMP data entry uses clear and 'unprocessed' basic data, which is then converted into meaningful and comparable information. Basic monthly figures, like 'total tonnes, total number of bunches, total harvester man-days and the harvesting round length' are entered directly from the Crop-Book. Optionally, this data can be imported as well from the payroll software or comparable sources.
Environment / Pests & Diseases This form is used for information on environment management and pest and disease incidents.
Nutrient Status The screen shows a quick and comparable summary of the nutrients recommended and applied to this block for the recording year. Again, specific and variable fertilizer data details are converted into meaningful and comparable information to support management decision and agronomic understanding.
Vegetative growth parameters, block management and documentation The screen shows growth parameters like frond production, petiole cross section measurement, pruning standards, etc., and it provides access to specific documents related to this block record.
Leaf data Leaf analysis results and the assessment of visual nutrient deficiency symptoms are core data to analyze the nutrition status of a block. The data are vital to analyze nutrient requirements and to prepare fertilizer recommendations for upcoming years. As fertilizer costs are a mayor cost factor, OMP provides several tools to optimize and monitor efficient nutrient management.
