The Oil Palm Series (English)

Jointly published by the Southeast Asia Program and 4T Consultants (Vol 1-6) and CIRAD (Vol 7 French). A5/A6-size. Laminated, wire binding.

The Oil Palm Series consists of seven volumes covering the nursery, immature and mature phases of oil palm management. These full-colour handbooks and pocket guides are printed on laminated paper and can also be used as outdoor reference material.

Volumes 1–3 are A5-sized Field Handbooks, with detailed instructions for handling common situations out in the field, e.g. how fertilizer should be applied, canopy management, etc.

Volumes 4–6 are the Pocket Guide versions of the Field Handbooks. These handy, A6-sized companions to the handbooks summarizes the same principles into a condensed format for use in the field.

Volume 7 is a pocket guide for interpreting and treating the deficiencies found commonly out in the field. This publication has been translated into French, Bahasa Indonesia, Spanish, and Thai. Click on the books to find out more.

The Oil Palm Series (other languages)

The popularity of the English version of the Oil Palm Series has generated much interest in the Southeast Asian region, and ESEAP (in conjuction with the Indonesian Oil Palm Research Institute) has now produced Bahasa Indonesia versions to cater specifically to the Indonesian and Malaysian oil palm plantations.
